Oh, we're definitely doomed.
Boston Dynamics shown off the latest feat of its bipedal Atlas robot Thursday, in a video showing it running and jumping over obstacles with ease.
"Atlas does parkour," the company said in a statement. "The control software uses the whole body, arms and torso, to marshal the energy and strength for jumping over the log and leaping up the steps without breaking its pace. (Step height 40 cm.) Atlas uses computer vision to locate itself with respect to visible markers on the field.
So when the robots take over, do not even bother trying to run away.

The robotics pioneer has previously been invented in the form of a four-legged robot that acts like a dog – a dog that can open doors. It has also been developed that Marc Raibert, Boston Dynamics' founder, called "nightmare inducing."
