Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens offered a reality check after his pre-season team's 102-95 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers at TD Garden on Tuesday night.
According to Chris Forsberg of NBC Sports Boston, Stevens said that he "could not be more impressed "with the game of the Celtics through three pre-season games– two of which were losses.
"We are not as good as those announced at the moment," said Stevens. "So at least we know it."

2 years ago, the Cavs are back 3-1
After a 115-112 win over the Charlotte Hornets, the Celtics-Who was resting Kyrie Irving– came out a little flat and sprayed 42.7% against Cleveland, including 5 out of 31 (16.1%) out of 3.
Boston also saw the Cavaliers rack up 38 free-throw attempts (27 against Boston) and a 13-7 advantage over the offensive shot.
"No luck, we dominate talent alone, no team does that," said Forsberg's Stevens. "You have to play together, you have to play the right way.If you have very good players and they do it all, then you can have a special year."
On the plus side, Marcus Smart (15 points) and Marcus Morris (14 points) both shone.
The Celtics will look to produce a more complete effort when they conclude their round-trip with the Cavs on Saturday.
