The first trailer of "A Star Is Born" is released and stars Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga.

In the remake of a "A Star Is Born," director and star Bradley Cooper uses such a deep and gritty voice, it sounds like Sam Elliott's signature sound.

"It was weird," Elliott said of Cooper's voice at the movie's premiere Monday night in Los Angeles. "It was good."

Cooper changes the way he talks and sings (yes, that's Cooper's vocals) to perform Jackson Maine, a tour musician who discovers the talented Ally (Lady Gaga). Jackson plays with the real band Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real in the film and plays original songs written by Cooper, Gaga, Nelson and others.

After writing music and changing the sound of his character, Cooper finally sounded like a certain moustached actor of "The Big Lebowski" and "The Ranch".

In the meantime, Cooper rewrites his screenplay to include an older brother and the idea that Jackson stole that character 's voice.

Of course, Elliott had to play the role of brother.

"He really made his voice before Sam Elliott was in the film, and then he had to convince Sam Elliott to be part of the movie," said producer Lynette Howell Taylor.

Fortunately, this meeting with Elliott went well.

"I went to meet Bradley at home, I had never met him before, I spent a few hours talking to him and one of the things he did while he was there. He was there, he was playing with him and his vocal coach, and he sounded a lot like me, "Elliott said.

"I had no advice, he had already done it."
