GLENDALE, Arizona – The Arizona Cardinals took the lead in the fourth quarter, about five minutes from the end of the day. Then they could not do anything offensive.

An incomplete and a bag left Carr just 25 seconds to work. Ateman and fellow rookie Saeed Blacknall blocked their cover, allowing Roberts to score 20 yards on the ground.
Roberts did not leave the field and the Raiders had no downtime, which meant Carr had to break the ball quickly to score Carlson's placement with two seconds remaining.
The novice kicker was successful, giving his team a well-deserved victory after five straight defeats.
"It's been a long time coming," Carlson told reporters. "We continued to reduce the risks, knowing that the rock was going to crack. It was really good, really nice to help get there.
