Braun Strowman vs. Baron Corbin booked for TLC with many stipulations

Braun Strowman held his share of the market Sunday night when Team Raw won the men's five-on-five elimination match at Survivor series.

Monday night, he came looking for it. In the opening segment of Monday eveningStrowman and Baron Corbin reminded Stephanie McMahon of the promises she made if Raw was able to beat SmackDown Live. As a result, she booked the two to face each other during a match at the TLC pay-per-view on December 16th.

Strowman was allowed to choose the stipulation and demanded that it be a match Tables, Ladders and Chairs. If "The Monster Among Men" wins, he becomes the No. 1 candidate in the World Championship and gets a title game with Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble in January. But if Corbin wins, he becomes the official general manager of Raw.

The quarrel between the two started completely at Jewe crownl when Corbin attacked Strowman from behind just before his title match against Lesnar. This allowed "The Beast" to hit Strowman with five F-5s in a row to win the title in about three minutes.

With Monday's announcement for TLC McMahon announced the opening of a six-man playoff game as Strowman teamed with Finn Balor and Elias to face Corbin, Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley.

Balor and Elias were both eliminated in the match, leaving Strowman to fight for himself. He almost succeeded in eliminating Corbin with a Powerslam, but was stopped when McIntyre broke the keel by hitting Strowman in the back with a steel chair. The referee called for the ringer to eliminate McIntyre, but the whole match was dismissed as the three men continued to shoot down the bearded juggernaut.

The attack ended when McIntyre and Lashley used the Corbin leather belt to hold Strowman's arm against a steel step while Corbin hit her with another staircase.

With the exception of the playoff team game on the pre-show, Monday evening successfully scanned SmackDown Live in face-to-face matches at Survivor Series, including Lesnar defeating WWE Champion Daniel Bryan, Ronda Rousey defeating Charlotte Flair via disqualification and Seth Rollins pinning Shinsuke Nakamura.

TLC will be held at the SAP Center in San Jose, California on December 16th.
