Braves & A.J. Minter: Loss of hands on Wednesday

[ad_1]

Minter (4-3) suffered defeat on Wednesday against the Red Sox, allowing two runs on two hits and a march on 1.1 innings. He wrote off three.

After entering with two outs in the eighth inning and the tie tied 7-7, Minter continued to walk on the first batter to charge the bases before beating Mookie Betts to escape the frame. The next run was not as good for Minter, as he gave Andrew Benintendi a single before serving a two-run homer at Brandon Phillips with two outs. The left-hander still has a solid average of 3.31 ERA and 63:18 K: BB in 54.1 innings this season and he is expected to stay in the ninth inning at the moment, at least until that point. Arodys Vizcaino (shoulder) come back later in the month.
