The Atlanta Braves must defeat the Philadelphia Phillies on September 22 or 23 to clinch a playoff spot. On the way to the weekend, the Braves 'magic number was two and the following details depended on the Braves' playoff position. Another win against the Phillies not only sends the Braves to the playoffs, but wins the NL East for Atlanta.
To date, the Braves are in second place in the National League and will face the winner of NL West if the playoffs were to start today. Braves Playoff Tickets
The Braves have already started selling playoff tickets for three home NLDS games (if needed). On the Braves website, there are games 1, 2 and 3. The number is the home match, but not necessarily the game of the series. Atlanta still has work to do to secure the field for the NLDS. At the moment, they have a slight lead over the Dodgers and the Rockies, their two most likely opponents.
