Braun Strowman was put out of action this week on RAW after a brutal attack of a few stubs, including Baron Corbin. But Strowman needed an elbow surgery scheduled for Monday and although he hopes he will be able to recover it by December 16, the TLC payment by WWE may well prepare him for do not participate in the show.
Bray Wyatt made his return to the ring at Starrcade last night where he fought against Baron Corbin. Their match was then turned into a 6-man match ending with Bray also being pinned by Bray. This led Dave Meltzer to speculate on Wrestling Observer Radio that the WWE could be ready to be replaced.
"I do not know if that means he'll come back on television on Monday or not. But maybe that means they could make an angle on Monday if Strowman can not fight and Bray Wyatt comes back and fights Baron Corbin in San Jose, maybe? Who knows? But maybe [Wyatt] will be back Monday, yes. "
WWE likes to know what's going to happen and if it's doubtful that Strowman is going back in time, there's no question that Wyatt would be a great replacement. We will just have to wait to see how the operation of Braun Strowman will take place Monday to get a concrete answer. However, WWE may not have that time.
