Braylon Edwards' brother, Berkley, was kicked out of the field on Saturday night after being hit in the helmet.
Former Michigan receiver, Braylon Edwards, congratulated head coach Jim Harbaugh for rushing alongside his brother Berkley after the half-offensive injured Saturday in the Wolverines' win on Indiana.
In the fourth quarter, Berkley Edwards was hit by the Hoosiers' linebacker, Cam Jones, while he was blocking a sendoff. Edwards remained motionless on the ground for several minutes as the medical staff and Harbaugh gathered around him. Graduate transfer was attached to a cart before being removed from the field for precautionary reasons. Jones was called for a targeting penalty and kicked out of the match.
Harbaugh told reporters after the match that Berkley had a concussion. Edwards tweeted an update saying that his brother was answering the tests and moving his extremities.
The Michigan All-American also expressed gratitude for the fact that Harbaugh is "called right next to Berk all the time".
In September, Edwards was suspended by the Big Ten network for sending a tweet criticizing the Wolverines after their defeat against Notre Dame during the first week.
"Ruiz is weak, the line is weak, shea is scared, f —— The Michigan attack is so predictable … Michigan football is unfortunately one thing ……. Trash, "tweeted Edwards and later deleted.
Harbaugh sent the tweet in September, calling Edwards' shares "disappointing".
Referring to "the past in the past" on Saturday night, it seems that Edwards and Harbaugh have been able to fix things.
