The Nigerian Labor Congress (NLC) has suspended its national demonstration.

Members were also ordered to return to work.

The NLC had instructed workers to start the strike on Thursday, following the failure of negotiations with the federal government on the implementation of the new minimum wage.

Speaking at a press conference in Abuja last Wednesday, Ayuba Wabba, president of the CNL, lamented that the congress failed to reach an agreement with the federal government delegation led by Minister Chris Ngige. of Labor and Employment.

The strike has resulted in the closure of activities in offices, schools, railway stations and airports.
