Pink party

An advantage for Komen New England sponsored by The Hartford Courant, this "party with a purpose" includes speakers, a surviving fashion show of breast cancer, live music from Shaded Soul Band, dance performances from the Nutmeg Conservatory, pink carpet photos, raffle prizes and dance nights. , exhibitors, a suite of mobile mammograms and more. Walk to wellness

The St. Francis Women's Comprehensive Health Center, located at 114 Woodland Street, Hartford, will extend its hours of service to allow more women to attend their annual mammograms: Wednesday, October 10, the center will open early and will remain open late, hosting "Mammos & Massages", from 7 am to 7 pm, during which patients will also receive massages by integrative medicine staff.
