Breshad Perriman signs with the Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Brown will recruit Breshad Perriman, the former Baltimore Ravens player, said a source to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

The reception corps of the Browns is exhausted. Rashard Higgins came out this week with a streaked MCL. Cleveland is also without Derrick Willies, who has a broken collarbone, against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Browns have only Jarvis Landry, Antonio Callaway, Rod Streater and Damion Ratley in good health for Sunday's game. Streater and Ratley have not yet managed a pass this season.

Perriman was cut by the Ravens in September and has since worked for several teams. The No. 26 pick in the 2015 draft became the first choice of the Ravens' first round to be cut before the expiration of his rookie contract.

Perriman had 43 passes for 576 yards and three touchdowns in 27 games, never eclipsing 65 passing yards. He has had problems with passing passes and injuries throughout his professional career, and missed the 2015 season with a partially torn PCL in the right knee. He was absent for the training camp in 2016 with a partially torn ACL, as well as throughout the preparatory season and a regular season game in 2017, with various injuries.
