Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre were not best friends when Favre was the starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers while Rodgers was the substitute. But now that time has passed, both have become good friends and it seems that they will be featured in an upcoming documentary. Favre has a show on Sirus XM NFL Radio and he said that Rodgers is editing a documentary that will be a "Year in the Life of Aaron Rodgers" (via Zach Kruse from Packers Wire). Rodgers was recently at the Favre House in Mississippi to research the film.
It will be interesting to see how the film unfolds taking into account the year that Rodgers had. After missing nine games last year due to a broken collarbone, Rodgers worked hard during the off season to return to 100%. And before the start of the season, Rodgers has signed a contract extension that will keep him in Green Bay for the next six years. The extension of the contract is $ 134 million and he will have a chance to win $ 180 million before the expiry of his contract.

Favre was recently asked about his new ideas on Rodgers' new contract, and he thinks the double MVP deserves it.

Along with the contract extension, Rodgers began dating NASCAR's former Danica Patrick earlier this year. They have been seen at many events including the ESPY, Patrick being the host. And one of the things that Rodgers is experiencing is a knee injury that he sustained on Sunday against the Chicago Bears. Rodgers left the game in the second quarter, but came back in the second period to win the Packers by 20 points.
The good news is that the injury will probably not retain Rodgers for the entire season. In fact, Rodgers is likely to play Sunday when the Packers face the Minnesota Vikings.
