the Dragon Ball Super: Broly The film is expected to come out in North America in early 2019, and anime fans are in a hurry to get a new type of movie. Dragon Ball story. The film will focus on the origins of favorites such as Goku and Vegeta, and reintroduce Broly into the canon.
The English cast is also excited to see what the next Super Dragon Ball the film has to offer. They saw the latest trailer in New York Comic Con for the first time, and most of them had not even started working on the film yet.
Newsweek She's been entertained with Monica Rial (Bulma), Ian Sinclair (Whis), and Jason Douglas (Beerus / King Cold) to talk about the renowned voice actor, Vic Mignogna, and what they do. are waiting for the new Broly movie.
Note: This interview has been slightly modified for clarity and length.
Vic Mignogna is on board to play Broly. How to have it on this project?
Ian Sinclair: We never see each other. That's it, I love Jason and I panicked every time I see him in the studio, but it's such a rare occasion.
Monica Rial – It's rare to hear sometimes.
Jason Douglas – I'll say one thing about Vic: he made his debut when Monica and I have ours in Houston, there are many moons. His career has begun on a certain trajectory and he is well known for certain titles. He had the opportunity to play Broly during the previous iteration and the studio just used this character again. So, maybe he brings more attention to our series from his fans, which is considerable. It's a talented voice actor and it's always great to see a respected high-caliber performer make a character like this. Especially for Dragon Ballhe deserves the best people in all roles. I'm sure they had problems with the cast for the tournament Tournament of Power. You had all these new characters. It was not enough to just fill those roles. They had to be well done. There was a huge spreadsheet of each character that would appear. And even those who had only a few lines, wanted to find the right actor for this role. Again, when we play that role, they may only have three lines, but they may have a bigger role later. I think it's great to have someone in this role who has this, I hate to use "the power of the stars", but it brings some weight to the series. This is good for Dragon Ball.
MR – It must be fun for him, to be known as Edward Ehrlich, the positive and lucky voice that makes him an honest villain. It must be fun for him.
IS – I think it's going to hurt. It will hurt.
M – [Laughs] This is one of those things for which we say "congratulations?" It's like martial arts training when you keep beating to be conditioned, our voices have been conditioned by all the cries of the years. So, welcome to the team?
IS – I hope you will survive!
JD – When she says conditioned, she means damaged. Mel Blanc who would have told you the same thing, your agreements have been hit hard over the years. It's a good thing, in a way, because your voice becomes deeper and deeper, finer and more flexible. But from a clinical point of view, that's not a good thing.
IS – But then he opens the tap and lets the bass go out.
JD – But it's not a kind of song where you work vocally to support. It's something your agreements slap against each other and you sometimes taste blood. I do not think that our chords recover in the same way as our muscles.
There seems to be a family theme in this movie. Do you plan a movie different from the one you are used to?
MR – I think the Japanese have mentioned that this movie will make you cry. And I guess it's because he's dealing with these sincere problems. Everyone understands what it feels like to be loved by your father. Some children will know what it means to be abandoned. This is likely to affect those heavy topics that people will be telling and perhaps prone to crying. But who does not like a story of origin? Who does not want to know more about these characters that you like? So I'm excited to see where it's going.
JD – I would be interested to see if this is the type of original story that is one of the favorite topics of new fans. To start with this movie and be curious enough to go back and start Great, it seems like a logical beginning.
IS – I have the impression that movies are designed to attract fans and attract a wide audience. For example, when my mother was watching Battle of the gods, she loved it because it was a family story and a birthday party and that type of angry cat comes with his friend and they argue over it. The music in the movie was much lighter and happier, when they did it again for the show, it was more scary. It's a good marketing tool for people like my mom, who want to participate in the series. When she went to Resurrection of F, she was like, "Oh my god, does this show talk about fighting?" because she did not know Battle of the gods. I think this new film is representative of history and rich heritage and allows fans to immerse themselves in the depths of the history of this world. The first film is: bring them with your family. The second is: watch all the incredible fights. And the third is: look at how great this story can be.
Would Broly be a better god of destruction?
IS – You know, I do not think it will be bad.
Mr. – Hey now. What about my husband?
IS – Sorry. I think a lot of people are pretenders. But considering his rage, well … we do not know it yet. He can just say, "I do not want to fight, but I have to." Ideally, a destroyed destroyer and I think that's what he does.
