DENVER (CBS4) – The Broncos have released Adam "Pacman" Jones according to his own post on Instagram. Jones posted a picture Tuesday afternoon with the caption: "Well, Denver was fine, thanks for this opportunity !!!! Later !!! "
Jones signed a one – year contract in August. He has appeared in seven games this season.
Jones has played in 22.06% of the Broncos' defensive catch this season and has been used as a punt returner and return kicks on special teams.
In a late match Sunday against Chargers Jones was replaced in favor of River Cracraft. Vance Joseph said Monday about the decision that Cracraft was "really safe", and that "when it was saved like that, we put River – or whoever is our safest ghost.
The Broncos will host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. The kickoff is scheduled at 2:25 pm and the game can be viewed on CBS4.
