Frankie Grande, the older brother of singer Ariana Grande, is "beyond the broken heart" of the death of rapper Mac Miller.

Miller, who separated from the pop star this summer after two years of attendance, died Sept. 7, apparently of an overdose. He was found dead in his San Fernando Valley home in California after a friend called 911.

Frankie Grande paid tribute to the late rapper with a black and white photo of Miller that he posted on Instagram on Wednesday night with a moving legend.

"He was a good friend and was wonderful for my sister," wrote Grande. "It was the reason why I went to the rehab center where I was safely detoxified from all the alcoholic drugs and medications I was taking, whereas I could not imagine living without them."

Great, like Miller, had addiction problems. Big revealed in his post that he was sober for 453 days, and praised Miller for his tremendous support during his recovery.

"I remember when I would have had 30, 60, 90 days of housekeeping and that Malcom was there with a gift, a card and words of encouragement … telling me that he knew how much it was hard to stay sober and I was impressed to succeed. "

Great has also encouraged all addicted social media followers to ask for help because "you do not have to walk alone".

"Malcom my friend, we will miss you a lot," he concluded. "I know you will look at me from the sky, proud, because every day I live my life clean and sober."

Ariana Grande broke her silence about Miller's death, publishing a similar tribute with another sweet Miller photo, but did not include a caption.

The singer of "God Is A Woman" was apparently "incredibly involved" in Miller's sobriety, according to one of the rapper's closest friends, who praised Grande for being a stabilizing force in his life.

"They were very in love, and I must say she was amazing when he was sobered," said Shane Powers, Miller's friend, in his podcast. "It was a fucking G for him. There could be no one more favorable to his sobriety than Ariana. I saw that. I was in the corner.

"This little girl was incredibly involved and helpful in being healthy," added Powers.

Miller's funeral would be held in his hometown of Pittsburgh later this week. Fans gathered Tuesday night to pay tribute to the singer at a local park, which inspired the name of his first album.
