Broward County rapper Koly P was shot dead Saturday night.
The wounded rapper from Pompano Beach, Florida, appeared on Instagram during the ambulance ride to the hospital, recording a brief conversation with the paramedics who accompanied him.
Articles on social networks written by friends and rapper fans suggest that he survived filming. It was not known yet where the alleged incident had occurred.
"I'm fine," said Sunday afternoon a message from Kolyon's Instagram account, which had asked him about his condition.
Like most hip-hop artists, Koly P – also known as Kolyon – is an avid user of the Instagram image sharing application and uses the platform to interact with and develop his fan base.
His live video of the ambulance Saturday night quickly became viral.

In the video, one of the paramedics asks, "Pain elsewhere? No right?"
No, Koly nods. "It's the third time I've been shot," he says.

But just then, another paramedic intervenes: "Where were you hurt?"
"I was shot in the stomach," Koly answers. "I was shot in the hand."

Koly P, also known as Kolyon, is one of the best-known rappers in the Broward County hip-hop scene, who has been musically flourishing in recent years, but also in the throes of arrests and violence.
Rapper and composer XXXTentacion was shot dead on June 18 in Deerfield Beach.
