WOODLAND HILLS (CBSLA) – While Los Angeles Rams receiver Robert Woods faced the Minnesota Vikings at the Memorial Coliseum on Thursday night, his home in Woodland Hills was robbed.
At approximately 7:20 pm, the Los Angeles police responded to a robbery call at Woods in the 23100 building on Mariano Street. Police told CBS2 that the suspects had stolen property and then fled before the police arrived.
It was not immediately clear what had been caught or how many suspects had penetrated. There was no description of the suspects.
Woods scored well last night in the 38-30 victory over the Vikings, with 101 yards and one touchdown on five catches.
This is only the latest in a series of break-ins into celebrity homes.
Tuesday night, the home of singer Rihanna in Hollywood Hills was robbed for the second time in the past five months.
On September 18, three burglars broke into the home of Los Angeles Dodgers fielder Yasiel Puig at least the fourth time the batter's home was hit by burglars in the past 18 months.
On August 25, two suspects broke into the home of rapper Wiz Khalifa, in the Sherman Oaks area, while he was away. Other victims include Demi Lovato, Floyd Mayweather, Rhonda Rousey, Jason Derulo, David Spade, Drake, Scott Disick, Rakim Mayers, Alanis Morissette, Fabio, Amber Rose, Nicki Minaj, Kendall Jenner, Derek Fisher, Emmy Rossum and Jaime Pressley.
