Bouge American idol. Instead of exploiting the Americas for the next rising pop sensation, Netflix provides a platform for the masses to find the next hip-hop star. And on top of that, expect a cast of stars to help you.
On the new competition series of the streaming platform, Rhythm + flowCardi B judges, Chance The Rapper and T.I. will go from town to town to find unsigned and undiscovered hip-hop artists and help them take another step toward realizing their dreams. In addition to this trio of judges, powerful artists and actors from the industry will step in to drop gems.
The series is produced by John Legend, Jeff Gaspin, Jesse Collins, Nikki Boella, Jeff Pollack, Mike Jackson and Ty Stiklorius, and executive producers include Jesse Collins (Jesse Collins Entertainment); John Legend, Mike Jackson and Ty Stiklorius (Get Lifted Film Co.); Jeff Gaspin (Gaspin Media); Nikki Boella; Jeff Pollack; Cardi B; Luck the rapper; and TI.
The 10-hour episodes will officially begin in the fall of 2019, but for the moment, judges are actively looking for hungry, indie and hip-hop talent, ready to step in.
