Popular rapper Cardi B donated $ 8,000 to the family of a 15-year-old boy who was brutally killed in the Bronx during a videotaped attack.
Five men stabbed Lesandro (Junior) Guzman-Feliz several times with machetes and knives on Wednesday night in the Bronx. A stormy video of the incident shows the attack, then Lesandro trying to run to the hospital, which was a few blocks away. He collapsed and died before doing so.
Cardi B, from the Bronx, published an article on brutal murder with the hashtag #justiceforjunior.
"These Bronx streets are ruthless," said the 25-year-old rapper on Instagram.
The rapper made a donation to the family's GoFundMe for Lesandro's funeral expenses, which raised more than $ 100,000 until now.
According to CBS New York, Lesandro was attacked by a group of five men who were part of a local gang.
The police are asking the public for help in identifying the men who would have been involved in the brutal stabbing. The surveillance of the men was released by the New York police on Friday.
