Cardi B was left exposed after being fought with Nicki Minaj – ripping her dress in the process.
Friday night, the rappers quarreled at Harper's Bazaar ICONS party that left Cardi bruised, a source previously confirmed to PEOPLE. The party was part of the festivities of New York Fashion Week.
During the altercation, Minaj, 35, was against a wall and completely surrounded by security while Cardi, 25, shouted and threw herself on her, according to another source.
In a video of the incident posted by Twitter user Danieljonasny, we can see Cardi say "Bitch come here," while making a slit to the rapper "Barbie Dreams." Can a male voice be heard shouting, "Do not do it," while Cardi – whose red dress Dolce & Gabbana was torn at that spot – is taken away screaming about her daughter Kulture Kiari. Not mentioned by name.
In another video obtained by Cosmopolitan, Cardi can be seen removing his shoe during the altercation by repeatedly shouting:
The insider told PEOPLE that since she was the one who was throwing her shoes at Minaj's, it is not certain that she ended up with a blow to the head, but Minaj did not. The source adds that it is possible that the shoe ricocheted and hit her face.
The rappers' representatives did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's requests for comment.

In an additional video obtained by Power Star LiveCardi can be seen wearing a red high heel in his hand after the fight, while his underwear appears in the back, where his dress was torn.
Before going out, we can see his entourage helping him to cover himself with the ripped material.

After the altercation, the source told PEOPLE that Cardi was surrounded by her own team as she was coming out of the event and was visibly upset and crying.
While her team first tried to wrap around her head to prevent the cameras from photographing with the visible welt, they were too late, the source said.
In addition, the insider says that Cardi wanted to make a statement to the police, who was already on the scene to provide additional security to the event and was not called because of the altercation.

An insider has already told PEOPLE that Cardi had arrived at the event first. After Nicki's arrival, an altercation took place on the second floor balcony during a performance by Christina Aguilera.
"The scene was crazy," the insider told PEOPLE. "It was the entourage against the entourage."
Immediately after the incident, Cardi was escorted by security while Nicki remained inside, according to the source. We saw Cardi leave the party with a big ball on his forehead but no shoes.
"She went barefoot, her dress torn and her buttocks," added the source.
An NYPD news officer confirmed to PEOPLE Saturday that there was no update in the case, noting that "at this point, we have no complaints from both sides". arrests had taken place and officials were on hand after the dispute.

Later, Cardi wrote a scathing article on Instagram entitled "PERIOD". She did not mention Nicki by name, but suggested that she had tried to sabotage Cardi's career and also talked about the rapper's daughter, Kulture Kiari.
"I sent you once in person, I spoke to you a second time in person, and every time you stopped pleading! But when you talk about my child, you choose to comment on me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter, that's when all the bets are launched !! The fight on Friday night comes after a long quarrel between the two. Nicki, however, denied that there was ever any bad blood between them, although she acknowledged a particular case where she felt that Cardi was ungrateful.
"The only thing that Cardi really, really hurt my feelings is the first interview she did after Motorsport," Nicki said of his collaboration with Cardi and Migos. "I remember when I came into the game, if a woman of that caliber had played a role with me, I would just sing her praises and say" Thank you.
