DENVER – The Nets had their share of heart breakers. But Friday in Denver, they came from behind at the last minute and won a winning match in the final seconds. And as has been so often this season, it's Caris LeVert who took them out of the fire – and helped the Nets get rid of 112-110 against the Nuggets at the Pepsi Center.
After following 110-106 within one minute of the end, the Nets (6-6) drew. And then, LeVert eliminated Gary Harris and let slip a float with only 0.3 seconds on the clock. That was the starting basket and when the Nets forced Malik Beasley to miss the buzzer, he became the winner of the match.
LeVert earned 17 points and five assists for the Nets. D & # 39; Angelo Russell had 23 points, while Jarrett Allen added 18 points and nine rebounds while they eliminated the Nuggets (9-3), who got the second record of the Conference of the West and got a monster evening from Nikola Jokic.
