After a rough start all around in Houston, it seems the Rockets are ready to make a change just 11 games into the season.
The Rockets have reportedly told Carmelo Anthony that his “time with the team will soon be ending,” according to Marc Stein of the New York Times.

Anthony was listed as “out” for the Rockets’ game against the Indiana Pacers on Sunday night, too, due to illness.
Rockets general manager Daryl Morey met with reporters on Sunday afternoon, where he insisted that Anthony was still a member of the team and that he is in fact sick.
Anthony has struggled off the bench this season — the first in his career he hasn’t been in the starting lineup — for the Rockets, who have opened the year with a 4-7 record. The 34-year-old has averaged a career-low 13.4 points and 29.4 minutes per game so far this year, and scored just two points while shooting only 1-of-11 from the field and 0-of-6 from behind the arc on Thursday against the Oklahoma City Thunder — a game many dubbed as his “revenge game.”
The Rockets signed Anthony to a veteran’s minimum $2.4 million deal this offseason, which they will be on the hook for if they do officially waive him. Once he clears waivers, though, Anthony will be free to sign with any team in the league.
