Here is the AP summary:

PHILADELPHIA (AP) – Cam Newton conceded a touchdown pass to Greg Olsen 1 meter from the goal and the Carolina Panthers beat a 17-point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat the Philadelphia Eagles 21-17 on Sunday.

Wes Horton fired Carson Wentz, forcing a fumble in the Panthers' fourth run to seal the win.

The Panthers improved to 4-2 with the biggest return in the history of the franchise. The reigning Super Bowl champion Eagles fell to 3-4.

After Carolina took the lead, the Eagles started at 30 minutes. A fine of 48 yards for James Bradberry against Alshon Jeffery allowed the team to score a goal against Carolina 22. Eric Reid intercepted Wentz's reverse pass, but the game was flipped on a video review. Wentz threw incomplete at Jeffery in the end zone in third and second and was stripped to the next game.

Having lost 17-0, the Panthers started their rally when Curtis Samuel sank from 14 on a backhand, but Graham Gano missed the extra point.

Newton then quickly led the Panthers 87 yards, throwing an 18-yard pass to Devin Funchess. He connected with Jarius Wright on the 2-point conversion to allow Carolina to score for the same goal with 4:08 to go.

The Panthers forced the ball to three and got the ball at 31 with 2:17 to go.

Newton threw three consecutive unfinished passes, but managed a shot on the fourth dive and still completed a 35-yard pass to Torrey Smith to reach Philadelphia 34. A 22-yard pass to Christian McCaffrey allowed Carolina win the first try. 4. Newton headed towards 1, placing himself in third position. He threw it to Olsen wide open at the back of the end zone.

Newton finished 25 of 39 out of 269 yards and 49 km.

Wentz's TD pass to Jeffery gave Philadelphia a 7-0 lead in the second quarter. Ertz had 15 and 22 yards and Jeffery had a 20-yard pass before the score.

Jeffery and his teammates had a unique celebration. He placed the ball on the ground and pretended to make a free kick.

Wentz conceded a 1-yard goal for Dallas Goedert to register a 17-0 record in the third quarter, finishing 17-0 on 94 yards at 9:22.

DO MORE

Gano scored a 39-yard placement that was canceled by a false start. He missed 44 yards, but another false start allowed the Panthers to try again and they replied.

DO NOT GO LONG

Reid and safety Eagles Malcolm Jenkins exchanged words and were separated before the draw. The two men have a story that dates back to last year when Reid left The Players Coalition, co-founded by Jenkins. Reid and Jenkins are both fighting for the same cause – social and racial injustice – but do not agree on how to do it. Reid recently called the coalition "an NFL-funded subversion group" and strongly supports his friend, Colin Kaepernick.

Reid also got involved with Ertz after attacking Wentz after a transfer in the first quarter. Both guys received penalties for personal fouls.

Reid's knees

Reid again took a knee at the national anthem. He has been doing it since Kaepernick, his former 49er teammate, started taking a position in 2016.

INJURY

Panthers: DE Mario Addison left the match twice with a back injury and did not return after a fourth-quarter exit.

Eagles: RB Darren Sproles (hamstrings), BC Sidney Jones (hamstring), DT Haloti Ngata (small) and S Corey Graham (hamstrings) were among the key players in the training.
