Carrie Underwood shows the fans that she is proud of her famous scar.

On Friday, the singer released a selfie back on her Instagram page, offering a close-up and personal view of her famous scar from a terrifying fall last November.

In the photo, the 35-year-old woman shows her colorful makeup for her "Love Wins" video clip. The singer subtitled the picture, "#FBF to film the video clip of Love Wins," with a YouTube link to the official video.

For months after the star's famous fall, which required 40 to 50 stitches for the singer and a broken wrist operation, Underwood was reluctant to show his face in public and even avoided frontal photos on his social networks.

Finally, in April, the star showed the first picture of her face after the accident – a black and white profile picture of the singer in the studio. She is finally back in the spotlight at the ACM Awards where she is performing for the first time since her fall.

Underwood spoke about her life after the injury in an interview with Redbook Magazine in August and spoke of rumors that she had undergone plastic surgery and would have taken advantage of her fall to cover the face change.

"I'm in a magazine every two weeks for something crazy," she told the publication. "It's a bit sad because the truth is just as interesting. I would have liked to have a great plastic surgery to do that [scar] to look better. But I try not to worry too much about it.

"Whenever someone hurts himself, it looks very bad at first, and you say to yourself," What will it finish? " "You do not know," she continued. "It was also a matter of perception because I look at myself [now] and I see it a little, but other people are saying, "I would not even notice."

She continued, "No one else is watching you as much as you think. Nobody notices it as much as you think, so it was nice to learn. "

Underwood has come a long way since last November. In September, the singer released her new album "Cry Pretty" and, a month ago, the mother of her 3-year-old son Isaiah, had revealed to the fans that she and her husband, Eric Fisher, were expected for their second child.

Since the announcement of her second pregnancy, Underwood has shown her fledgling baby several times, from the Grand Old Opry to Disneyland.
