Carrie Underwood shows a facial scar on a regression photo nearly a year after a sudden fall

She came back into the spotlight after revealing last year that she had hurt her face.

And now, Carrie Underwood shared a glimpse of the lingering scar.

The slight facial injury of the 35-year-old woman is visible in a reminder photo that she herself has published filming her video clip for Love Wins.

The scar was visible right under her nose as the singer landed in front of the camera, her face artfully decorated in shades of yellow and sparkling blue.

It's been almost a year since Carrie's terrible fall caused her to have more than 40 stitches in her face.

In November 2017, the singer fell into the staircase of her home in Nashville. In January of this year, Carrie, who also fractured her wrist during the fall, revealed to her fans that she had also suffered facial lacerations requiring 40 to 50 stitches.

Now, Carrie is expecting her second child with her husband Mike Fisher.

The singer's humpback baby was hidden under snug diapers while she was making an appearance at the Sunrise AFL Grand Final Show in Melbourne, Australia on Friday.

Carrie went on stage to play the role of headliner during the event and prepared herself to withstand the cold spring.

Meanwhile, Carrie talked about the three devastating miscarriages she suffered between 2017 and 2018.

She told the Herald Sun: "Last year was difficult."

The singer revealed that she wanted to be open about her grief because she talks about it in her latest album, Cry Pretty.

"I needed to take it out there, otherwise some songs might not make sense to people," Carrie said.

The winner of American Idol added that she was planning a tour when her second child was born and her family would join her on the road.

"I just hope this one will be as easy as our son Isaiah," says Carrie.

Carrie and her former hockey player Mike share three-year-old son Isaiah together.
