Cary Fukunaga was confirmed as the new director of Bond 25, replacing Danny Boyle, who left the film in mid-August, with "creative differences" being blamed for the reason.

Bond's official Twitter account revealed the new Thursday morning.

"Michael G. Wilson, Barbara Broccoli and Daniel Craig announced today that # Bond25 would start shooting at Pinewood Studios on March 4, 2019 under the direction of director Cary Joji Fukunaga with a world release on February 14, 2020".

The new release date is five months later than expected, the producers originally hoping to release the film, which will be starring Daniel Craig on October 25, 2019 in the UK.

Filming was scheduled to begin in December but to avoid missing the November release date, filming should have started in January 2019 at the latest.

With a start date of March, the film was naturally postponed by five months.

Boyle reportedly refused to kill James Bond as he fought against Daniel Craig and Barbara Broccoli's plans that Bond would die "dramatically" at the end of the next film.

It is thought that Bond 25 will be Craig's last outing as 007.

Bond's death left the franchise open to a Doctor Who regeneration, but it was claimed that the differences between the storytellers about the film were leading to "budget clashes and there was pandemonium among the members of the team who were leaving production. & # 39 ;.
