"Castlevania", executive producer working on the series "Devil May Cry" – Variety

An adaptation of the animated series of the "Devil May Cry" franchise of Capcom is in preparation, according to IGN. It is developed by Adi Shankar, executive producer of Netflix's "Castlevania" series.

The new series "Devil May Cry" will be part of what Shankar calls the "multiverse bootleg". The franchise "Devil May Cry" has sold 16 million units in its lifetime. Capcom recently announced that it was working on a fifth entry in the series, which should be launched on March 8th.
