This is not a normal thing to do when your team wins a SEC East game or any game.
Kentucky ended a run of 31 defeats in Florida on Saturday night, preventing a comeback of Gators 27-16 in Gainesville. But it was not the craziest part of the evening in Lexington.
Wildcat fans celebrated in bars and on the streets after the historic upheaval, even reviewing a car during their celebrations. The fans got on the car and stopped to take pictures with her.
Lexington's State Street is filled with people after the end of the match, even as the rain continued to fall. State Street has become a popular place for students and Kentucky fans who want to party after big wins, including Wildcats victories in the NCAA tournament.
The police patrolled the streets as the crowd continued to gather.
"You might want to find another place to go because it's not going to be too friendly here," The Kentucky nucleus, the student newspaper of the university, reported an officer telling a student.
Kentucky's victory ended the fourth-longest losing streak in an uninterrupted series of NCAA history.
