Kardashian West said she was forced to evacuate her home in Calabasas, California, because of the looming threat of fire.
"Pray for calabasas," wrote Kardashian West in an article on Instagram. "I just arrived home and had an hour to pack and evacuate our house, and I pray that everyone will be safe."
Thousands of residents were forced to evacuate as firefighters struggled to contain the flames. Friday morning, more than 20 million people were under the red flag in all the state.
Friday afternoon, Kardashian West tweeted that the flames had touched the property that she shares with her husband, Kanye West.
Kardashian West sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian also had to leave their homes.
"I can not sleep! I'm too nervous with these #MamaKoKo fires," Khelashian said on Twitter.
Alyssa Milano wrote on Twitter that she had also been evacuated and that after initially believing that her horses were in good hands, she then expressed her concern for their safety.
"If someone can get five horses out of the fire, help me," she writes.
Singer Lady Gaga was also among the evacuees, sharing a series of photos on an Instagram story.
"Send my prayers to everyone today," she wrote in a photo.
The director of "Shape of Water", Guillermo del Toro, said that he had been evacuated on Thursday night. His non-main residence, a well-known museum of art and scary memories called Bleak House, was also on the way to the fire, he said.
"Bleak House and the collection may be in danger, but the gift of life remains," he wrote on Twitter.
The singer Cher is also said among those who are worried about her house, located in Malibu.
Actor Mark Hamill and his family evacuated their home safely, which is "dangerously close to fire," he said. He added that he "pleaded for our #FearlessFirefireers in their battle against #MeanMotherNature."
