ASHEVILLE – Caesar Sayoc may have delivered pizzas before being accused of delivering pipes to the pipe, according to a woman from Asheville who would have seen his truck parked today in an apartment complex in Reynolds last year.

Deborah Gadbois immediately recognized the van when she saw pictures of it on her Twitter feed Friday. She had herself photographed the van just a year ago, when she saw her parked in the apartment complex where she lives.

Gadbois was walking his dogs shortly after 21h. On November 21, when she stumbled on the van widely featured in the news Friday while Sayoc was apprehended in Florida in connection with mail bombs sent to prominent Democratic politicians and public figures critical of President Donald Trump.

The van was parked illegally, near a site for the disabled, when Gadbois saw her last year, she said. She took some pictures to share with her husband, which she describes as "a big supporter of Donald Trump".

"It was just covered with Donald Trump stuff, not something you see every day," Gadbois told the Citizen Times on Friday. "I saw a Domino sign on his dashboard, it looked like he was living in the van, his dashboard was just covered with things."

Gadbois said she had not ordered pizza that night and that she had not interacted with, or even seen, Sayoc. She took pictures of the van and quickly switched to the action so as not to disturb anyone who could have been inside, she said.

A few weeks ago, someone had ripped Pro-Trump bumper stickers from cars in his building. She thought that the big white van with Trump's memorable memories would probably make some residents angry – and could even make her husband laugh.

Another resident of Asheville who refused to give his name photographed Sayoc's van in East Asheville the day after Gadbois's visit.

Law enforcement officials placed Sayoc in custody on Friday and charged the 56-year-old journalist with investigating 12 bomb-like devices targeted at prominent Democrats, according to the ministry. of Justice.

The stickers included images of President Donald Trump, American flags, and what appeared to be Republican National Committee and CNN logos, although not all the images are clear.
