What a beautiful second hour of Chicago Fire!
I laugh.
Although we had the impression that Chicago Med Season 4 Episode 2 focuses more on the characters visiting Fire and Chicago PD, our favorites had their moment in the sun; if you rent enough.
The emphasis on external characters was not the only problem of "When To Let Go". More doubtful was that it was practically a repeat of Episode 18 of Chicago Med Season 3.
If events involving many victims were more the norm in the Chicago world, it would not have been so striking. But this riding is usually so silent that events come off dramatically, especially so close to each other in the timeline.
At least this time, there was a continuity between the Chicago franchises.

The focus on Fire and PD characters has diverted attention from the gaping hole left by Rachel DiPillo's abrupt exit. Of course, the door was left open for her eventual return someday, but it's probably not a good idea to put money into this event.
Hopefully Gwen will follow her through the door.
The most annoying moment with the operations manager may have been to ask Maggie to set everything up for an event involving many victims. The hospital has just experienced a much more serious tragedy: if it's still fresh in our minds, it should be in the characters too.
Except that this continuity is a word that editors are aware of, I am not convinced. Pat's heart surgery did not occur during episode 20 of Chicago Med Season 2?
Apparently no, or he had another cardiac incident because Gwen was extremely wise to keep him under respiratory supervision until the end of the 30-day period.
Trying to force this timeline to make sense will hurt your head. Just do not bother you.

That was what we do not have See who was the most interesting in the history of the Halstead family. Jay and Will discuss their parents and try to blame anyone is old news, but why was Natalie not involved until the end?
As a future daughter-in-law, would not she have had to be able to support Will at least while this was going on? Why is not he entrusted to her?
Just another sign that their relationship requires serious work.
Gwen mingling with Jay and Will's business was another indication that she was a bureaucratic monster, but no one needed that to confirm it further.
The new presence was a surprise, as was his instant resentment of Choi. He did not leave any other choice to his chief resident: he reacted defensively, which is a beautiful look at no one.
You know that this guy is going to be a problem because even Doris think he's a donkey.
Fortunately, Dr. Charles arrived and saved the day with a decent story. Otis helped of course.
This combination of characters really worked and we would all like to see more in the future. Otis has been through a lot of things over the past year and it would be great to see Daniel visit Molly for "sessions".
If you watched Chicago Fire Season 7 Episode 2, it's easy to understand why Otis was suffering. It was hard to get out of your head the image of the mother and baby in the elevator, it was just seeing her on your TV screen.

Otis is not a character who likes #OneChicago wants to see suffering, but it's hard to deny that his stress issues that would come back down the road later would be disappointing if it meant more appearances on Med.
Who can get enough of Yuri Sardarov?
His self-disparaging humor would be a good change of pace compared to the usual stoic TV characters who face problems with PTSD or other mental health issues.
Although none of the stories featured in Chicago Med Season 4 Episode 1 were discussed during "When To Let Go," things will go as planned with Chicago Med Season 4 Episode 3 ("Heavy is the Head ").
Medical students will be back without anyone knowing what to do with Elsa. On the basis of her insistence that she not get treatment, I think we are looking for a replacement, Sarah, but who has no social skills.
Maggie will help Connor to open his new hybrid operating room in an emergency, and the pressure is strong to prove its usefulness. Gwen is not the only one to doubt after all. Will the pressure keep Connor from knowing how long Ava has been keeping him in Chicago?
Let's hope that Ethan is too distracted by the situation of a young boy brought to the emergency department for him to become foolish about Emily, but nothing helps to know what April will do. . Will she open a pregnancy center in crisis maybe?
