Chick-fil-A licensed manager after the video shows the fight of the customers

Police said an unruly client unleashed a brutal brawl inside a Washington, DC, Chick-fil-A restaurant on Tuesday, a hospital manager said.

According to ABC 7, the police state that the 55-year-old customer shouted at other customers and went behind the counter when the employee asked him to leave. Police said the fight started when the man reported.

The video of this part of the fight was obtained by ABC 7. It shows the employee who repulses the man when he suddenly seems to punch the employee.

Another part of the fight was captured on video and uploaded to Twitter, where he received more than 5 million views on Friday morning. The video shows a man, later identified by ABC 7 as a 27-year-old manager, holding another man in a seat and hitting him repeatedly as passersby screamed in the background.

A man puts his arm around the employee, who is struggling to break free and seems to continue trying to hit the other man, who collapses to the floor.

When the restaurant employee is removed, the man gets up from the floor – and slowly picks up a stool, holding it over his head.

Another spectator jumps in front of him and grabs the stool, and the man falls to the ground. He gets up while dozens of spectators continue to shout.

He turns around and finds a woman who shouts "Get him out" several times. He turns around and walks slowly to the back of the restaurant, where another man seems to be hugging him and bearing a little of his weight. Both walk to the exit and the video ends.

The client was taken to the hospital and charged with common assault, reported WMAL.

Chick-fil-A called the incident "disturbing", apologized and said that the employee was no longer working at the store, according to a statement given to WUSA and other media .

"This video is incredibly disturbing to watch and we do not tolerate in any way the violence or reaction of the team members to the situation. The restaurateurs of our franchise and the members of their team strive to create a safe and welcoming environment and treat all guests with dignity and respect. This situation is not up to the commitment of our brand to hospitality and, for that, we are sorry, "the statement said.
