Chick-fil-A responds to an "incredibly disturbing video" of a worker attacking a man in a restaurant

WASHINGTON DC. – A video of a Chick-fil-A employee who attacks a man in Washington, DC, has become viral.

The images began circulating online Thursday after a Twitter user downloaded it to the social media platform, where he was seen more than 4 million times.

The recording on cell phone shows the worker, a young man, attacking an older man inside the restaurant. In the clip of one minute, the employee hovers over the man and hits him in the face and head several times before another person holds him back. Several employees and customers are heard screaming and screaming during the chaotic scene.

Although it is unclear what happened before the video, Chick-fil-A, Inc. confirmed the incident in an e-mailed statement to the company. Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
