Chick-fil-A will offer 200,000 free chicken sandwiches to coincide with the launch of its new delivery partnership with DoorDash, the fast food chain announced in a press release.

The company rolled out on-demand deliveries to more than 1,100 restaurants in the United States on Tuesday. Customers who order through the DoorDash app or website and use the promo code "CFADELIVERY" for orders of $ 5 or more will receive one of the free sandwiches.

The Chick-Fil-A Chicken Sandwich costs $ 4.99, depending on the company's menu, which means the value of the chain has a retail value of about $ 1 million.

"Most of the busy lives and commitments of our client's family caught them off guard. Delivery is a way to help them get a quick but high quality meal, "said Jon Bridges, senior vice president and chief marketing officer of Chick-fil-A. "If they can not come to us, we will contact them."

More on this:

The offer is valid until the chain distributes 200,000 sandwiches or until Tuesday, November 20th. Free sandwiches are limited to one per customer and orders must be placed after 10:30 am local time to be eligible.

Chick-fil-A has started testing a delivery partnership with DoorDash in some markets in 2017. For nationwide deployment, deliveries will be limited to a 10 km radius around the stores to ensure quality, announced the channel.
