Childish Gambino begins the last part of his tour with the wrong foot.

The Grammy, Golden Globes and Emmy Award-winning rapper / actor, also known as Donald Glover, rescheduled Wednesday the rest of his North American tour due to an apparent disability.

"Under the orders of the doctors, Childish Gambino has postponed his dates" This Is America Tour "to later this year because of an injury," Live Nation said in a statement to USA TODAY.

Although the entertainment company did not disclose the nature of Glover's injury, TMZ said it was broken off during a Dallas concert Sunday, forcing him to cut his set.

Wolf + Rothstein's fam Rothstein, who collaborated with Live Nation to produce the tour, assured fans on Twitter Tuesday that the shows were just "postponed, not canceled".

He continued, "My guy has played through the pain, but he has to make appointments before the past years."

The news of the postponement comes just after his performance in Los Angeles at the Forum. The site took Twitter to alert fans of a plan change on Tuesday.

Glover launched the tour earlier this month in Atlanta, which gave its name to Emmy's award-winning television series that he created and who is the star of FX.

During the concert, he announced that it would be his last tour as Childish Gambino; he revealed that he was retiring last year.
