Police are investigating the death of a woman allegedly burned in Staten Island.

Investigators said the firefighters had been called to a small fire in a wooded area of ​​Bartow Avenue and Eugene Street in Tottenville, after children had discovered the body Sunday afternoon.

The FDNY found the body of a partially dressed woman on fire when arriving near Long Pond Park.

Police said that the woman was partially clothed and that she was probably there for several days.
