A brawl between a bus driver and a passenger forced the vehicle to leave a bridge to go to the Yangtze in Chongqing, southwestern China, killing 13 people, police said Friday.

On Thursday, 13 bodies were found and identified, police said. Two people have disappeared.
The authorities said that they had reached their conclusions after studying more than 2,300 hours of surveillance footage and 220 Dashcam video clips. They also interviewed drivers and passengers of 160 vehicles on the site before and after the incident.
Police interviewed 132 other witnesses, including passengers who had left the bus before the accident and employees of the bus company.
Police divers found the surveillance camera on the bus on Wednesday. Four passengers who got off the bus confirmed that a 48 year old woman had quarreled with the driver because she had missed her stop. The driver advised her to get off at another stop, but she did not do it.
Witnesses said that the woman understood that she had missed her stop and asked to get off. The driver stated that there was no designated bus stop nearby.
The surveillance recording showed that at 10:03, five minutes before the accident, the woman got up from her seat, approached the driver and started to curse him.
The driver turned his head several times. At 10:08 am, while the bus was on the bridge, the woman hit the driver on the head with her mobile phone. He struck her with his right hand and struck her on the neck.
The woman then used her mobile phone to hit the driver's shoulder while the driver used his right hand to stop his attack and control it.
The driver, whose left hand was constantly driving, used his right hand to turn the bus, driving the vehicle at a speed of 51 km / h into the wrong lane. He collided with a car on the wrong path along the bridge and plunged into the river.

The recordings clarified the events that led to the accident and responded to speculation on Chinese social media, the police said.
Rumors provoked calls to ban female drivers because the car that the bus found was driven by a woman.
The driver of the car was arrested by the police and subsequently released without charge.
