SECOND
No. 2 Georgia (-14.5) in Missouri
Georgia does not yet need lines similar to those of Alabama, but the Bulldogs may be in that direction. Normally, you stay away from a road favorite at 14.5 points in a division game between unbeaten teams. But Missouri conceded 574 yards and averaged 10.4 yards per attempt to David Blough of Purdue last week. All those who are offensive to Georgia are better than those who attack Purdue. I was really in a hurry to pick my first favorite here because I think it's a great buy-down on USC, but we're leaving with another outsider because they were so kind to us when we left 3-0.
Oregon has actually opened its doors as a favorite, but bettors will naturally side with the side that beat USC, the state of San Diego and the US. UC Davis at the expense of Bowling Green, San Jose State and Portland State. The cardinal also crashed the Ducks last season, although Justin Herbert was not injured.
Stanford has not faced a quarter as talented as Herbert, and the Oregon attack has run into a lower competition this season, averaging 51.7. points per game (eighth in the country). Stanford is leading college football by allowing 7.7 points per game up to now, but it's worth noting that the cardinal was sensitive to big games (tied for 74th overall by allowing 14 games over 20 yards). The Oregon offense is eighth in the country with 22 games that lasted at least 20 yards, and the Ducks certainly have the firepower needed to turn those big games into many points in that shock. I am also a big fan of Oregon's defense talent, especially its top seven. This group is dominated by defensive linemen Jalen Jelks and Jordon Scott, as well as linebackers Troy Dye and Justin Hollins. Jim Leavitt is one of the best defensive coordinators in the country and the Ducks will prepare to stop Bryce Love, who did not seem explosive to launch this campaign.

Texas Tech at No. 15 Oklahoma State (-14)
