The widow of American singer Chris Cornell is suing his doctor, accusing him of having too prescribed drugs that eventually led to his death in 2017.
Vicki Cornell alleges that Dr. Robert Koblin has "repeatedly and negligently," prescribes to the singer "dangerous controlled substances to alter the mind".
Cornell was found in a hotel room in Detroit and his death was declared a suicide.

Drugs prescribed by Dr. Koblin and his office allegedly "altered Cornell's cognitive knowledge, impaired his judgment and forced him to engage in dangerous impulsive behavior that he was unable to control, which would have cost him the life".
The trial involves large amounts of Lorazepam (Ativan), an anti-anxiety medication, prescribed to the singer between September 2015 and his death on May 18, 2017.
Ms. Cornell also alleges that the doctor did not physically examine the singer before recommending the medications.
Dr. Koblin has not made any public comment to date.
