Captain America has the back of James Bond.
It seems Morgan Piers has a problem with men wearing baby carriers. The father of four has made his opinion known this week and simultaneously fanned Twitter by posting a photo of Daniel Craig carrying her newborn daughter in a "papoose". Craig is famous for his recurring role as James Bond in the last four installments of the franchise.
"Oh 007 … not you too? !!! #papoose #emasculatedBond, "said Morgan under the paparazzi subtitles.
Not surprisingly to spark a digital debate, Morgan quickly reacted to the comment from dads, who proudly shared their own photos of themselves carrying their children in the camera.
"Imagine wearing your own baby in public is emasculating," said a woman.
"He does not wear it, that's what I want," replied Morgan. "He's using an emasculating papoose – James Bond would never use a papoose to carry his babies."
Despite all the insistent comments, Morgan refuses to reconsider his controversial opinion.
"Papoose-gate is going global tonight. Many very angry papoose lovers shouting insults against me," he tweeted. "FYI: That will not change my opinion about papooses – these are ridiculous instruments of emasculation."
Chris Evans joined the argument of Twitter and called Morgan for his position. "You really have to be so uncertain of your own masculinity to worry about how another man is carrying his child," the Marvel star said. "Any man who is wasting his time quantifying masculinity is terrified inside."
The commentary of the actor seemed to have no effect on the Hello Brittany co-host.
While he responded with a mocking air, "Captain America would not wear papoose."
