In the hours following Kanye West's surprising performance on Saturday Night Live – which included a Trump speech related to the end of the show – the rapper has constantly posted on social media.
One of his tweets focuses on his Make America Great Again hat, which "represents good and America becomes whole again," and suggests that we, as a society, must "abolish" the 13th Amendment to the United States Constitution, which ended slavery when it was ratified in 1865.
it represents good and America becomes whole again. We will no longer outsource to other countries. We build factories here in America and create jobs. We are going to provide jobs for all those who are released from prison, while we are abolishing the 13th amendment. Message sent with love pic.twitter.com/a15WqI8zgu

Many of those who met the tweet in their calendar were disturbed and upset, and Chris Evans called West's tweet for his "shameless conjecture" and his refusal to look beyond his "myopia" to see to what point a tweet can be damaging. "There is nothing more distressing than arguing with a person who does not know history, who does not read books and who considers myopia as a virtue." Avengers: Infinity War the star replied.
There is nothing more infuriating than debating someone who does not know history, who does not read books, and who makes his myopia a virtue. The level of shameless conjecture I've encountered recently is not only frustrating, it's retrograde, unprecedented and absolutely terrifying. https://t.co/4jCFwB4T5U
