Less than seven hours after Donald Trump's cancellation of his American cemetery and his visit to Aisne-Marne, Winston Churchill's grandson had a few words for the president.

Nicholas Soames has been a member of the Mid-Sussex Parliament since 1997.

"They died facing the enemy and this pathetic @realDonaldTrump inadequate could not even challenge the time he was doing to pay homage to the Fallen," tweeted Nicholas Soames.

He then added a hashtag to his tweet, stating that he was not fit to represent this great country.

The assistant of former President Barack Obama also called Trump via Twitter stating "there is always a rain option".

"I've helped plan President Obama's travels for 8 years – there's always a rain option," Ben Rhodes tweeted.
