The culminating events of Avengers: the war to infinity maybe coincidence prefigured all the way back Captain America: Civil War. The last of two very different wars was the beginning of a continuous arc that would see the Avengers split into two factions on the Sokovia Accords, the government's direct response to the growing amount of superheroes in the world and the # 39; immense death and destruction often left in their wake. Throwing in the dilemma of how to deal with the old Hydra assassin, known as the Winter Soldier, has only increased the tension to more personal levels, especially between Tony Stark / Iron Man (Steve Downey Jr.) and Steve Rogers / Captain America (Chris Evans).
Over the years, and several films, the two pillars separated. Iron Man will continue to mentor the young hero whom he recruited originally, Peter Parker, in Spider-Man: Homecoming, while Captain America, apparently no longer obliged to make government educational videos for schools, would undertake secret missions alongside long-time allies, Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Falcon (Anthony Mackie). Both will eventually fight Thanos' formidable threat, although they have never been able to fight side by side, Captain America trying to protect Vision (Paul Bettany) in Wakanda and Iron Man taking the space to align with the Guardians of the Galaxy on the natal world of Thanos.

But was this separation in the prefigured location as soon as Civil war, with what remarkable characters would die as a result of Thanos infamous fingertip and who would survive? Most likely, according to user Tumblr Raider 5. In one of the most crucial scenes of the film, where the heroic collective debate to sign or not the Sokovia agreements, the seated position is sharply divided. Cape, Black Widow, and War Machine, who all survive, can be seen on the left, while Scarlet Witch, Vision, and Falcon, all of whom perish, can be seen on the right. Tony Stark, meanwhile, can be seen from the side of the survivors, but hid all the way to the far corner – potentially foreshadowing his foray into space while the others remain in battle on Earth.
It's a compelling theory, and one that could have credibility given the MCU developers' fondness for Easter eggs. James Gunn, who led the two Flight. 1 and Flight. 2 of Guardians of the Galaxy franchise and is currently working on Vol. 3, grows more and more infamous for his Easter egg planting. Similarly, Civil war and Avengers: the war to infinity co-directors Anthony and Joe Russo have hidden many Easter eggs and references in their films.
In their case, though, they mostly serve as comical reminders to their previous work on TV shows like Arrested development and Community, with stars of the latter arise in minor roles and recognizable elements like the stair car appearing in the background of Civil War & # 39;s spectacular battle of the airport.
And while War in the infinite and the next Avengers 4 For ten years, writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely have written the three MCUs, it's hard to imagine that they would definitely know when they wrote and filmed. Civil war exactly who would end up meeting their disappearance. Yet, unless Markus and McFeely or Anthony and Joe Russo confirm it as a real nugget of anticipation, it's a fun little coincidence to think about.
