It's been 14 years since Dabo Swinney faced the Texas A & M Aggies on the road, but we're going to get that game on Saturday. The Clemson Tigers, ranked second in the country, are 1-0 and win the first week. strongly favored.
In 2004, Swinney was a receiver coach for the Tigers and they were defeated by the Aggies, 27-6, a match the coach still remembers. But teams now occupy very different positions, Clemson being favored by multiple touchdowns by experts and sports betting.

Gameday will be there and Clemson is on the road in a difficult environment. Fisher is more adaptable than he has been credited with, and has been able, for a while, to change the Florida State culture after Bobby Bowden has held on too long. However, it is difficult to bet on a team that seems less talented and consistent. Young receivers have often had trouble at Florida State, and second-year students, A & M, are in their second game in a new system. Offensive lines caught by flash pickup do not tend to be repaired overnight. The defensive line of Clemson should be able to force A & M out of its element and Venables is as creative as you find it in the country. The Aggies could be formidable in the long run, but this Saturday, it is difficult to see them win without something wild happening.
Clemson is third in the S & P + prediction with 30.5 points, while Texas A & M ranks 21st with 16.0 points. It's a difference of 14.5 points on neutral ground. Texas A & M has a talented team, but not one that will gain enough of its field advantage to overcome what many believe to be a multi-touchdown win for the Tigers.
