The iconic LeBron James banner, located in front of Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, was removed in July after James chose to play for the Los Angeles Lakers during the off season.
Instead of a cool photo of, say, Francisco Lindor or Kevin Love, the new banner will feature a mosaic of fan-submitted photos designed to resemble that of Guardians of Traffic that monitors the nearby Hope Memorial Bridge.
Via WKYC:
"The new design is one of the keepers of the Hope Memorial Bridge that connects Lorain and Carnegie Avenues and says" All for The Land ". The banner also carries the Cleveland Cavaliers and Destination Cleveland logos.
Clevelanders are not thrilled with the new design, it's the least we can say.
