Climate simulations predict the weather on the seven exoplanets TRAPPIST

But, says the team, it is possible that the seven planets are Venus-like worlds with warm and dense atmospheres. The star has probably gone through a turbulent phase in her youth, burning harder and harder to ruin the chances of life. If TRAPPIST planets had oceans of liquid water, they would have evaporated. Then, rather than staying in the atmosphere and falling back in the rain, the ultimate ultraviolet light emitted by the star would break down molecules into hydrogen and oxygen. Hydrogen could escape into space leaving behind a thick atmosphere of almost pure oxygen, which had never been seen before.
