Following the busy third week of the college football season, the Amway Coaches Survey reflects the ever-changing landscape of big wins and unexpected losses.
Texas A & M, 2-1 with freshman Jimbo Fisher after a 48-10 victory over Louisiana-Monroe, entered the running for the first time this season. Can Aggies stay ranked, however? A road trip to Alabama is next on the calendar. In addition, the UCF essentially jumped on Boise State by not playing in North Carolina during the third week because of Hurricane Florence. Meanwhile, the Broncos dropped from 17th to 24th after a 44-21 loss to Oklahoma State. This places the Knights in the ranks of the Group of Five.
Other shakeups include passing LSU to 6th after beating Auburn 22-21. Wisconsin dropped to 16th after starting 24-21 against BYU.
