Distributed Defense announced at a press conference in Austin today that Cody Wilson has resigned from his position as CEO. The announcement comes as the 3D printing gun activist is accused of sexually assaulting a minor.

Wilson was in Taipei last week when the charges were made public, only to be extradited to Texas and finally released on bail of $ 150,000. The company's development director, Paloma Heindorff, said at the hearing that Wilson resigned on Friday, adding that he would no longer play any role in the defense distributed in advance.
