State of Florida (4-4) at NC State (5 pm-5pm), 3:30 pm ET

The state of Florida needed a rescheduled match to continue its winning streak last year. It will probably end at age 36, unless the Seminoles win at NC State. Although the Wolfpack defense has been fragile lately, the top seven should generate enough pressure to contain FSU.

Prediction: State NC 27, State of Florida 23

Marine (2-6) in Cincinnati (7-1), 15:30 ET

Malcolm Perry's move to Garret Lewis at quarterback went well, but the Navy's defense is still a disaster. Cincinnati will participate in the run to stand up to the contenders, who have yielded 5.2 yards per race this season.

Prediction: Cincinnati 34, Marine 21

Tulane (3-5) South Florida (7-1), 15:30 ET

Although the green wave has a respectable defense in 60th place, its four least effective days have been on the road. If this trend continues as expected, South Florida should also be able to separate the Tulane high school and avoid an annoyance.

Prediction: South Florida 31, Tulane 24

Louisiana (4-4) to Troy (6-2), 15:30 ET

Excluding the losses expected from SEC opponents, Louisiana posted stable defensive performances. The highly variable offensive outflows however pose problem, and Troy should provide the type of resistance that has sentenced the Ragin 'Cajuns this year.

Prediction: Troy 28, Louisiana 20

Kansas State (3-5) to TCU (3-5), 3:30 pm ET

TCU lost the battle of turnover in seven consecutive games. This is not an automatic way to go bankrupt, but it's a great plan. Fortunately for the Horned Frogs, K-State is not an opportunistic team and relies heavily on his running game. This is the strength of TCU's defense.

Prediction: TCU 23, Kansas State 17

Minnesota (4-4) to Illinois (3-5), 15:30 ET

Win the win over Rutgers and the Illini have lost more than 46 points in four straight games. Minnesota have had their share of defense problems, but the Gophers have had 15 chances in the red zone in the last three games. Converting those with a higher clip might result in a stellar victory for Minnesota.

Prediction: Minnesota 42, Illinois 27

UTEP (0-8) at Rice (1-8), 15:30 ET

In the battle to avoid the basement of Conference USA, two slow blunders will try to take advantage of poor quality defenses. The UTEP quarterback carousel is however the most disturbing, and the Miners will feel an exceptional chance to win the victory in 2018.

Prediction: Rice 22, UTEP 21

Freedom (4-3) at UMass (3-6), 15:30 ET

In its last four outings, Liberty has surpassed the 40-point mark three times en route to a 3-1 record. UMass could take advantage of a weak defense, although it depends on the success of the offensive in the red zone. The landing rate of 20% over the last two weeks is unacceptable, but it should change Saturday.

Prediction: UMass 41, Liberty 35

Charlotte (4-4) in Tennessee (3-5), 4 pm ET

The two offenses are no better than the average compared to their normal competition. Nevertheless, Tennessee has a distinctive talent, so Charlotte must win the battle of the business to have a chance. Outside of a horrible day against Florida, Tennessee has only four gifts to win this season.

Prediction: Tennessee 34, Charlotte 17

State of Alcorn (7-2) in the State of New Mexico (2-7), 4 pm ET

The State of New Mexico ranks 108th nationally in terms of number of authorized yards per race. This is a problem for this match and for the first attack of Alcorn State. NMSU will not be up if quarterback Josh Adkins does not overwhelm the Braves. And this is not guaranteed.

Prediction: State of Alcorn 35, State of New Mexico 28

State of the Appalachians (5-2) on the Carolina Coast (5 to 3) at 5 pm ET

Last week, the Appalachian State Defense really struggled for the first time in its season against Georgia Southern. Coastal Carolina running could also frustrate the Mountaineers, but the porous defense of the CCUthe third worst country in the country, measured in yards per gamewill be a decisive problem.

Prediction: Appalachian State 34, Caroline Coast 27
